Pastor Ryan Cordle

Pastor Ryan Cordle began serving Zion in November 2020 in the role of interim minister, also known as a vicar. He is a 2022 graduate at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN where he has completed his Masters of Divinity through the seminary’s distance program. He has previously served at St. Luke’s in Lima, OH and at Trinity Lutheran in Convoy, OH. 

Ryan and his wife Noel reside in Lafayette with their three children. Prior to moving to Ohio, Ryan and Noel were both English teachers at a Christian boarding school in Eastern Kentucky. Ryan also coached varsity girls’ basketball for a number of years while teaching. 

Originally from Ashville, OH, Ryan graduated from Ohio Christian University in 2008 and later earned a Master’s degree in English and Writing from Western New Mexico University. He now spends too much time listening to sports radio and reading everything he can about Ohio State sports. 

Pastor Ryan keeps regular office hours at the church on Mondays and Thursdays and is available at other times by appointment.
